SOLICITATION PERMIT

Solicitation Permit Applications are available to the public within the City of Mansfield from the records management at the Mansfield Police Department Public Safety Building or by printing the application on the internet.

There is currently a $10.00 fee per solicitor and after the 11th solicitor the fee is $5.00 per solicitor to apply for a Solicitation Permit. For more information on how to obtain a specific report please call (817)276-4700.

  • Fee (1-10 Solicitor) Each Person $10.00
  • Fee (on 11+ Solicitor) Each Person $5.00

Steps taken when applying for a door-to-door solicitation permit:

  1. Surety Bond made out to the City of Mansfield for $1,000.00 (Applicant can obtain this though applicant's insurance agent).
  2. All blanks on application must be completed (If blank write N/A).
  3. Pay current application fees.
  4. Copy of Driver License and/or Identification.
  5. Application must be notarized.
  6. Fingerprints taken by Officer at the Police Department.
  7. Photograph taken at the Police Department.
  8. Ten (10) day waiting period for permit.
  9. Local Department records checked by Police Department.
