FIRE DEPARTMENT
The Mansfield Fire Department serves a population of over 55,000 people within a 39 square mile area. Mansfield is located with mostly within Tarrant County but also shares a portion of Johnson and Ellis counties. As a result, the department provides mutual aide to various fire departments in the area.

Burn Ban Discontinued
As of September 9, 2008, 4:00 p.m. the burn ban for the City of Mansfield is lifted. Please keep in mind that a burn permit is required before conducting opening burning within the City of Mansfield. If you need information on open burning in general or permits to conduct opening burning, contact the Mansfield Fire Administration office at 817-276-4790.

The Mansfield Fire Department offers FREE, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) classes once a month to Mansfield residents and to those who work in Mansfield.
