FIRE CODE ENFORCEMENT
This section of the Fire Prevention Division involves fire prevention inspections and complaint checks. This section has been referred to as that area of a fire department that deals with the most important non-fire fighting activity performed by the fire service.
A well-planned and executed fire prevention and inspection program is a less expensive and more effective way to accomplish the goal of the fire service (To minimize the risk of life and property loss form fire).
