FIRE DEPARTMENT
The Mansfield Fire Department serves a population of over 55,000 people within a 39 square mile area. Mansfield is located mostly within Tarrant County but also shares a portion of Johnson and Ellis counties. As a result, the department provides mutual aide to various fire departments in the area.

Incident Reports
Mansfield Fire Rescue processes requests for reports through our Fire Administration Office located at 1305 E. Broad St. Requests for reports are accepted for processing 72 hours after the incident. Citizens Fire Academy Accepting Applications
The Mansfield Fire Department is accepting applications for the Citizens Fire Academy, which will start April 3. The classes are held every Tuesday evening from 6-9 p.m. in the Fire Training Room located at 3100 E. Broad St.

The class will run for 10 weeks through June 5.
The program is designed for citizens who live or work in the city of Mansfield. The course mission is to open the lines of communication between the Mansfield Fire Department and the community.
The Citizens Fire Academy is dedicated to increased public awareness of the operations of the Fire Department, creating a safer environment at home and the work place.
Citizens participate in class discussions and hands-on demonstrations that include emergency apparatus and equipment, search and rescue operations, fire prevention, public fire safety, emergency medical scenarios and live fire situations.
Graduates of the program may join the CFA Alumni Association that provides support services to the Mansfield Fire Department, and participates in special fire department events held throughout the year.
Application deadline for the next class is March 23. Interested residents may pick up an application at the Mansfield Public Safety Building, 1305 E. Broad St.
