With the recent concerns of the H1N1 vaccine, the opportunity existed to request vaccine for your community. Enough vaccine was requested to provide to each Mansfield citizen. This resulted in an amount that became available for not only first responders but for many other people. A clinic was then organized and coordinated by these personnel in a short period of time. A total of 1,308 persons were vaccinated and remaining doses were dispersed to other areas within the county for dispersement. The actions and dedication exhibited by these personnel are commendable.
