FIRE DEPARTMENT
The Mansfield Fire Department serves a population of over 55,000 people within a 39 square mile area. Mansfield is located mostly within Tarrant County but also shares a portion of Johnson and Ellis counties. As a result, the department provides mutual aide to various fire departments in the area.

Your local Fire Marshal and the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) would like to take this opportunity to encourage you to make sure that your smoke alarms are working, and to test them in accordance with manufacturer’s instructions, at least once a month. If your smoke alarms are more than 10 years old, you
should replace them.
