MUNICIPAL COURT
The Mansfield Municipal Court of Record adjudicates Class C misdemeanor offenses and city ordinance violations punishable by fine only. The Court is staffed with 3 clerks who can assist you daily from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. Court clerks are not licensed attorneys and CANNOT provide you with legal advice.
MAKING PAYMENTS
The Municipal Court currently accepts personal checks, money orders, and cashier's checks when paying by mail. Cash payments will be accepted when you pay in person at the clerks' window. Payment by credit card is also available (VISA/MasterCard).
WARRANT OFFICER
The Court has a full-time warrant officer who is responsible for arresting any person with an outstanding Class C misdemeanor warrant issued by the Mansfield Municipal Court of Record. The Warrant Officer has already made numerous arrests in this region and within the State. The Warrant Officer also coordinates the community service program.
COURT CLERKS
The Municipal Court has 4 full-time clerks who may assist you by phone or in person from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. daily. Because the clerks are NOT attorneys, they CANNOT provide you with legal advice.
GENERAL INFORMATION
The Mansfield Municipal Court of Record hears all Class C misdemeanor citations issued by the Mansfield Police Deptartment.
The Court also has jurisdiction over any and all violations of Mansfield city ordinances.
