BANK DRAFT PLAN

Who can apply?

All customers with satisfactory water bill payment records are eligible for the bank draft plan.

How does the plan work?

You will receive your monthly City of Mansfield water utilities stub marked "paid by draft" in the mail approximately 10-14 days before the bill is to be deducted from your checking or savings bank account. Your bank will then deduct this amount and forward the payment to the City of Mansfield. You will have your water service utility bill stub and your bank account statement if needed for future reference.

Is there a fee for this service?

There is no charge for the City of Mansfield's bank draft plan. The plan is offered free of charge as a convience to our customers and you may drop the plan any time you wish by notifying the City of Mansfield in writing.

How do you apply?

Simply complete all the information on the Draft Authorization Form. To find the "Transit/ABA" number, call your bank or other finicial institution. This number should have 9 digits. Attach a voided check or deposit slip from either your checking or savings account; and mail it to the City of Mansfield Utility Billing, 1200 East Broad St., 76063.

After receipt of your completed Draft Authorization Form, it will be necessary for you to pay until you receive notification from the City of Mansfield.

How do I cancel?

Simply complete all the information on the Cancellation Form, then print and mail it to 1200 E. Broad St., City of Mansfield, TX 76063.
