WATER QUALITY
The City of Mansfield is dedicated to providing high quality drinking water to our citizens. We also strive to protect the enviroment through effective water reclamation (wastewater treatment).
In fact, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality rates the City of Mansfield Municipal Utility System a "Superior Public Drinking Water System."
Water Source
The City of Mansfield provides water to residents and businesses through the Tarrant Regional Water District through the district's reservoirs and pipelines. The City of Mansfield treats the water from the city-run water treatment plant, built in 1973 and expanded in 1988 and 2000.
