The City of Mansfield water and sewer system is municipally owned and operated. That means that the system is funded and controlled by the City of Mansfield. The utility system is not tax supported. Water and sewer utility rates fund the operation, maintenance, and associated debt service. Utility impact fees that are paid by new customers help to fund utility system expansion and improvements. These impact fees help to protect the vested interest of the existing utility customers by subsidizing the cost of utility improvements required to serve new growth.
The municipal utility system is operated by state certified employees who are dedicated to the highest standards of health and safety practices. State certified employees help to insure that the consumers and users of the utility system receive high quality drinking water and dependable sanitary sewer service.
The City Hall is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday - Friday.
