DRIVEWAY APPROACHES
The City of Mansfield requires a permit for adding to an existing driveway approach or adding a new one. The process is simple and the application can be downloaded along with the Plan Review Comments and the Approach Detail Sheet.
A drawing is required with the application showing property lines (plot plan would be sufficient) and work to be performed with dimensions. The approach permit is $60.00 and is due when the application is approved and the permit is picked up. An inspection will be required before concrete is poured or the culvert is set and can be called into 817-276-4243.
RESIDENTIAL DRAIN PIPES
A permit is required for a residential drain pipe to include French drains and drains used for pool backwash. The process is the same as the approach permit including the fees and the same application is used.
The residential drain pipe detail sheet can also be downloaded. A drawing is also required with the application. An inspection will be required after the core cut is made in the curb and can be called into 817-276-4243.
