ELECTION INFORMATION
QUALIFICATIONS FOR CANDIDACY
Candidates for Mayor and Council members must be:
- A registered voter of the State of Texas
- A resident citizen of the City of Mansfield for a period of not less than twelve (12) months immediately preceding his election of a resident of any of the territory not formerly within the corporate limits of the City but which is annexed under the provisions of this Charter for twelve (12) months preceding his election;
During an election year, candidates must register their candidacy with the City Secretary. City of Mansfield residents who are eligible can obtain a packet containing the appropiate filling forms and information at the City Hall by contacting the City Secretary.

La calificacion para competir
Cualidades para competir para major o miembro del consejo:
- Tiene que estar registrado para votar en el estado de Tejas
- Debera ser residente de Mansfield no menos de 12 meses immediatamente antes de la eleccion de cual quier territorio que no haga acido incoperado en los limites de la cuidad pero que es apropiado bajo la provicion por 12 meses antes de esta elección.
Durante el año de elección, candidatos deben registrar su candidancia con la secretaria de la cuidad. Los residentes de Mansfield que son elegible pueden obtener formas y informacion hablando con la secretaria de la cuidad.
