HLC Endorses Historic Mansfield Action Plan

The Historic Landmark Commission recommended to the City Council approval of the document, Discover Historic Mansfield -- A Vision and Action Plan, at its March 27, 2008 meeting. The Vision and Action Plan is a dynamic document that provides a blueprint for downtown property owners, businesses, residents and all interested community members to follow as they work to implement their shared vision for the heart of the city:

Historic Mansfield will experience a renaissance as the center of community life much as it was 100 years ago. It will be a vibrant place where people live, work, and play in a unique business environment surrounded by revitalized neighborhoods. As the thriving heart of a dynamic city, Historic Mansfield will be the natural gathering spot for everyday life, festivals, and celebrations.

A copy of the action plan is available here. For more information on Historic Mansfield, visit www.HistoricMansfield.net.
