Registration Questions
- My kids attend Mansfield schools. Am I considered a Mansfield resident?
- Residency is based on your physical address. Mansfield residents have a 76063 zip code. The Mansfield Activities Center is funded by the half cent sales tax.
- Do I have to come in to register?
- No. You may register for all programs in person at the Mansfield Activities Center or you may register for most programs online at www.mansfieldparks.com. You will need to have an established account with the MAC to register online. To obtain your login information, call the MAC at (817) 453-5420 during business hours or use the “Forgot my password” feature of online registration if you previously provided your email on your membership waiver form.
- Can I pay with my credit card or bankcard?
- Yes, we take Visa or MasterCard with the appropiate ID.
- How old do children have to be to stay at the MAC by themselves?
- Children 8 years old and older can be at the MAC from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. without parent supervision. After 6:00 p.m., children must be 13 years old and older to be at the MAC without parent supervision.
Children younger than the age requirements can be at the MAC if they are in a scheduled activity or class. If a parent is unable to attend with a child under 8 or 13 depending on the time of day, someone 21 years old or older needs to accompany the child.
General Questions
- Do I have to get my parents to sign me in?
- Yes, if you are 17 and under. We require that a waiver be signed for each membership purchased, whether it is an annual membership or a day pass.
So, if you are not 18 or older, every time you need a membership or day pass, a parent must come in and sign for you.
- Is it really important that I bring my card every time and scan it?
- Yes! We ask that you scan your card so we have a history of attendance. Also, for security reasons, we need to know who is in our building.
