Mansfield Parks, Recreation and Trails Master Plan:

Halff Associates, INC. have been selected as the consultant with the adoption of the new Mansfield Parks and Recreation Master Plan scheduled in Fall/Winter of 2008. The purpose of this Parks and Recreation Master Plan is to update the previous plan prepared in 2002. This updated master plan reviews the goals and priorities established by the previous plan and provides an assessment of Mansfield's parks, trail system and open spaces in the year 2007.

Above all, the Parks and Recreation Master Plan process allows the citizens of Mansfield to determine their preferred park and recreation priorities. There will be community meetings, phone surveys and public input opportunities during this process. Watch for meeting information and details starting in the next few months in the MAC Brochure, the City web site www.mansfield-tx.gov., MCTV channel 27 and the Mansfield News Mirror.
