WHAT'S NEW @ THE LIBRARY
Computer Operated Software For Children
Each kit contains a children's book and CD for the computer. The story can be listened to in Spanish while your child follows along with the text in either Spanish or English, or the story can be listened to in English while your child follows along with the text in either English or Spanish.
- Helps motivate struggling readers with audio narration and highlighted words
- Builds vocabulary for English Language Learners

Mansfield Writes!
The Friends of the Mansfield Public Library is pleased to announce a new program - Mansfield Writes!
On Saturday November 1st at the Mansfield Public Library , in conjunction with National Authors Day, the Friends will host a panel of local writers, each of whom will speak on a writing-related topic ranging from "Finding Your Voice" and "Failing Your Way to Success" to "Writing in Multiple Genres" and many more. After the author presentations, the panel will be available to answer questions and sign books, which will be available for sale on site. This will be a great chance not only to support your local library, but also to stock up on autographed books for yourself or those readers on your holiday shopping list.
Featured authors include Rachel Caine, Carole Nelson Douglas, P.N.
Elrod, Tim Madigan, Martha Moore, Laurie Moore, Celya Bowers, Kennedy Shaw, Janis Susan May, Juliet Burns, and Angela Cavener.

The presentations will begin at 10:30. The book signing will begin at approximately 12:30. The event is free and open to the public.
Those planning to attend the event can register by simply sending an e-mail with their name and "Register" in the subject line to Friends@FriendsofMansfieldLibrary.org. Those planning to attend the book signing only do not need to register.

We are pleased to offer our patrons a Print Station that lets you bypass the check-out desk and pay for printing yourself. The Library provides a coin machine which accepts $1and $5 bills, nickels, dimes, and quarters. It's quick and easy to use!
The coin-operated printers in the library cost 10¢ for black and white copies; 25¢ for color copies. Change is disbursed in coins.

The City of Mansfield has gone great lengths to provide its citizens with a wealth of materials, services, and resources that aide in helping educate and inform the patrons who take advantage of these opportunites.
ACTIVITIES & PROGRAMS

The Library provides various programs for you and your family. These programs are designed to enhance community involvement as well as educate and encourage learning for all age levels.
LOCATION & OPERATING HOURS
The library's hours of operation are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday, Friday, and Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. The library is closed on Sunday.
