MANSFIELD CLEAN WATER PROJECT
WHAT IS THE CLEAN WATER PROJECT?
The Mansfield Clean Water Project is a collection of programs with the goal of improving the quality of our water resources. The project can currently be broken into two sections:
PUBLIC PARTICIPATION
The public participation section contains several programs designed to actively involve the public in keeping our water resources clean from pollution. Most of these programs rely on volunteers to be a success. As the project grows, opportunities to participate will increase as well.
WATER POLLUTION SOLUTIONS
This section contains links to information about everyday activities that can help residents and local business owners protect our local waterways from harmful substances.
STORMWATER AWARENESS
The stormwater awareness section contains information on potential sources of pollution with tips on how to keep these pollutants out of our water resources. The public awareness section will also try to get the public involved in preventing water pollution through actions that can be taken by homeowners and local business owners.
